SOCIAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL CHALLENGES OF ELECTRONIC MONITORING

On December 18th 2015, the BSAFE LAB Law Enforcement, Justice and Public Safety Lab of Beira Interior University, supported by IPS, organized at the Engineering Faculty of that university a public reflection on “Social and Technological Challenges of Electronic Surveillance and Monitoring“.

At the session Mr. José Demétrio, CEO of GEOSATIS Technology, a Swiss company that holds several innovation awards in different countries, presented GEOSATIS approach towards technological innovation while responding to ethically sensitive societal challenges.
